One for the Road
Willy Russell wrote this play in 1976. The action takes place in the lounge of the Cains' dormer bungalow on a modern, middle-class, housing estate in the North of England. The Cains and another couple discuss the wave of puerile vandalism that has been inflicted, it seems mysteriously, on all but the Cains' gardens.
